regulated banking and payment service partners, has implemented and
adopted KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML/CTF (Anti-Money Laundering and
Counter-Terrorism Financing) policies in compliance with the applicable
requirements of FinCEN, FINTRAC, and other relevant regulatory
authorities.
Payment processing, AML/KYC procedures, payment and
settlement infrastructure, and settlement services are provided by
regulated banking and payment partners holding the necessary licences,
registrations, and authorisations in the relevant jurisdictions.
PRIVATEPAY LIMITED manages the customer-facing interface, the onboarding
and adaptation of customers and merchants, and customer relationship
management.
Regulated payment processing, settlement execution,
safeguarding of funds, provision of payment infrastructure, and
compliance with AML/KYC requirements are carried out by regulated
banking and payment partners under a Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) model.
These
partners hold the licences, registrations, and authorisations required
to conduct the relevant activities in the applicable jurisdictions and
may provide, depending on the specific product and region, the following
services:
- foreign exchange transactions;
- money transfers;
- issuance and redemption of payment instruments;
- payment processing and settlement services;
- provision of payment and settlement infrastructure;
- Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) services;
- AML/KYC compliance services;
- safeguarding and protection of customer funds in accordance with applicable law.
